In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, nursing professional development leaders play a critical role in preparing nurses for a future where technology and human connection coexist. This interactive session explores how AI, automation, and collaborative platforms are transforming nursing practice, education, and leadership. Through the lens of Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation, participants will examine the historical evolution of nursing technology, analyze current trends, and anticipate future innovations such as precision health and virtual care.

The program combines evidence-based insights with practical demonstrations, showcasing how tools like Microsoft Power Automate, Teams, and AI assistants can streamline workflows, enhance communication, and support clinical reasoning. Attendees will gain strategies for integrating these technologies into professional development programs while maintaining the core values of compassion and patient-centered care.
