Share your experiences and learnings from the Covid Pandemic

This one - hour Zoom meeting round table discussion will begin with four Professional Education Developers briefly describing the challenges they have encountered during the COVID -19 Pandemic, what they have learned and what they would do differently. We will open the meeting to participants for sharing their experiences, ideas  and lessons learned.

Suggested topics and other topics relevant to your practice:

  • What are the challenges, both practical and ethical of nursing professional developers in dealing with staff fears, staffing and equipment shortages and procedural changes.
  • How social distancing has affected your practice
  • Utilizing the labor pool and redeploying both clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Addressing the psychological and spiritual impact of staff fears, staffing and equipment shortages and procedural changes.
  • Lassons learned with regard to surge training for a pandemic.
  • How to support infection prevention while educating staff on cjhanginginfection prevention requirements and changes in available equipment due to shortages
  • Impact on BLS and ACLS training
  • What are your current practices for student clinical rotation including nurses and physicians.
